Know the power of self love! It is vital that we as women love ourselves; not just spoken words; but truly love ourselves (it will eliminate much of the unneccessary hurt & pains of life); GOD first, self, & then others....and for me in that order.

Coldest Winter Ever/Sista Souljah

What book has impacted your life the most & why?

This is a tough question to answer; only because there has been so many; but let's just say for now, the Coldest Winter Ever....the story line though fiction; was so true; it just shows what happens when you choose to deal with the falsehoods of life; fast money, the hookups; lies & deceit all comes with a price. I knew if was a life I did not want to live; I can truly learn from others mistakes.

What book has impacted your life the most & why?

The book that impacted my life the most has been "Good To Me" by LaTonya Mason. I was able to relate to the main character on many facets of her life. The impact it left me with was I am not alone. The crazyness that happened in my life is not unheard of. There are other overcomers out there! To God be the Glory!

What a wonderful joy it is to see you guys going full speed ahead with 'sisterhood'. I have enjoyed looking at the pictures you have taken at all the events - especially the ones taken here in Houston at Cushcity here in Houston. I only wish I knew each one of you by name when I look at the smiles in the pictures we took together. I am so proud of you - I pray for God's blessings to continue to flow upon you and within you. Much love. Angela
